Dr. Karly is a board certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine licensed to practice acupuncture and herbology in the state of New Jersey. Born and raised in Fair Haven by two chiropractors, holistic healthcare is in her blood. Dr. Karly discovered the benefits of acupuncture in high school when she developed a lung infection that affected her active lifestyle. Acupuncture and herbal medicine were the only therapies that brought her relief and back to her self. Right away she realized that she had found her career path and decided to help others achieve optimal wellness through non-invasive medicine.

After her many academic hours studying course material based on eastern and western medicine, she completed a year long internship at a public student clinic in downtown Manhattan. Since earning her license, she has worked in two busy, integrated practices before deciding to open up her own practice, Two River Acupuncture.
Throughout her acupuncture education, she was always fascinated by the benefits of acupuncture for beauty and its natural ability slow the process of an aging appearance. After receiving her license, she shadowed an esteemed celebrity acupuncturist who has mastered the art of aesthetics, receiving her certificate for aesthetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation.
Prior to studying Traditional Oriental Medicine, Dr. Karly received a bachelor’s degree with honors in Exercise Science and Nutrition from the University of Scranton which focused greatly on anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
When not practicing acupuncture, you can find her spending time with friends and family, or outside with her horse, Jack, and dog, Cooper.
